2026 Inclusion Alberta Family Conference

Denise is the educational coordinator at Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) for the Inclusive Post-Secondary Education Initiative. She is a passionate advocate for inclusive education and community connection, with a background in psychology and sociology. In her work supporting inclusive post-secondary education opportunities, she's focused on creating spaces where people of all abilities feel genuinely valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Outside of work, Denise's life is full of connection and chaos. She shares her home with her husband Tim, her daughter Tessa, her two fur babies Hewie and Oakley, and a baby on the way. Outside of the chaos of mom life, she still manages to find time for herself reading books, hanging out with friends, and working with wildlife.
