I am a wills, estates & trusts lawyer in Calgary, Alberta. I am the founder and managing lawyer of VanderLeek Law. I am also the father of 5 adopted children and have a lived experience, together with my wife, Annie, that has shaped my practice. In particular, we formed Disability Advocates in 2009 to focus on support services as part of the law firm on the disability sector in Alberta. Annie and I host a podcast called "We Advocate" that focuses on issues relevant to advocacy and legal issues for the disability community.
